THE AMBISTELLE STORY
Ambition deserves personal attention.
We help people develop confidence through learning: in the classroom, through music and out on the run. The goals are different. The care stays personal.
MEET RYAN
A teacher who knows
what practice takes.
For Ryan, learning has never belonged to just one classroom. His own experience spans demanding academic competitions, concert performances and competitive sport — alongside more than five years of tutoring.
That breadth is part of why Ambistelle makes room for different ambitions. A student preparing for an exam, a beginner finding joy in music and a runner working towards a goal each deserve personal attention.
See that work through student stories01IN THE CLASSROOM
Curiosity, put to the test.
Ryan has earned multiple High Distinctions across academic competitions, including the Junior Science Olympiad, and achieved highest individual scorer in a Maths Olympiad. He also received a Distinction for a mathematics project at the University of Melbourne.
02ON THE STAGE
Making room for expression.
As a violinist and pianist, Ryan has performed in major concerts, including at Hamer Hall. Music is both a discipline he practises and something he shares through teaching.
03OUT ON THE COURSE
Commitment, over the distance.
Ryan has run a marathon and competed at State Championship level and beyond across multiple sports. Preparing for the marathon gave him first-hand experience of working patiently towards a demanding goal — the same commitment to consistent practice he brings to supporting his running students.
04BEYOND THE EVERYDAY
Curiosity without a single lane.
Ryan’s interests extend to Army Cadets, debating and robotics. He has also won Chinese-speaking competitions for non-background speakers at the University of Melbourne. Across these pursuits, he aims to do his best, take on new challenges and help his students bring that same ambition to their own goals.
